Yeah sorry forgot that. They're all at the Carpenters if you need them urgently. Karren's round I think.

The club is so divided at the moment. The board's blatant support for Samuels article and now this latest insult to our intelligence is so dispiriting and depressing. It didnt need to be like this.

Lying about it is just silly.

The even bigger issue is where the money went. When you think of how much has been spent on that stadium it's criminal. From a non-West Ham perspective as a tax payer, heads really should roll.

That video Brady posted is incredible. All timelapse stuff, until it gets to the 'about 19 seconds in' where she says you can see the 'retractable' seating in action. So, do we see it sliding forwards smoothly? Of course we don't. It just cuts to it being fully forwards. You could take footage of the Boleyn last season and then cut to it now and claim the whole thing self destructed because of a state of the art system using that logic. They've clearly cut out the 3 weeks of workmen unscrewing everything and then putting it back together.

Absolutely priceless.

Re: West Ham launch @WestHamHelp
Surely they know it's temporary stands rather than retractable. No one can be that stupid.

My guess is they got mugged off and are trying to save face.

As the saying goes....Pay peanuts, get monkeys.

Uncertain terms, not times.

Re: West Ham launch @WestHamHelp
About 18 months ago I was talking to someone at work who runs a seating installation company. They'd been invited to bid for the OS job a while back but he had taken one look at it and said 'no thank you'. He said it was next to impossible the way the board were initially selling it and in no uncertain times told me that we would end up with demountable seating as opposed to retractable which would have cost many times more.

So if he knew that, there's no way the architects etc didn't.

Ornchurch ... no - I think some idiot is quoting from the original idea ... which is obviously NOT what we got !

MikeHammer

Is that the posh way of saying a scaffolding frame sat on breeze blocks and held together by cable ties, which are moved in to place by a number of blokes wearing roller skates?

The amount of lies and spin is unbelievable!

Would love to see their faces when they see the renewal rate over summer...

Re: West Ham launch @WestHamHelp
This is the official response !!!!

The seating system is a specialist bespoke design, intended to ensure the best configuration for both football and athletics.

It's an aluminium frame which sits on a state-of-the-art air skate system used to retract seats backwards and return them back again.

Re: West Ham launch @WestHamHelp
Mike. It seems the new official line is that we DO have retractable seating. Karren even has video evidence to prove it. As you can see. The proles remain unconvinced..
